  1. Thanks ATBF for finding that one! What a great performance by Bizier, always the aggressor, full of confidence :) It hasn’t been going well for Quebecers on the international scene these past few weeks, this one is a balm :) Now Bizier is no 1 for Kell Brooks’ strap!

  2. Great fight.
Bizier, always fun to watch, brought the action and forced it continuously until the end.

I don’t see Lawson recovering completely

from this loss. It was a physical and mental breakdown. The mental is probably going to scar him. Time will tell.

  3. Thanks a lot ATBF! Best site ever!
Good fight to watch. Bizier hard boy but needs to stop blocking half the punches with his head as he comes in-If Lawson really was a puncher, it would be an easy knockout for a puncher(on the counter or as he walks straight into it). I dont really understand why a lot of these boxers dont learn to fight on the inside. You have to have superior footwork and speed plus counter punching ability if you want to have a one dimensional outside ‘boxer’ style.
They have good records because they havnt fought anyone decent.
Bizier could be very good if he learnt better head movement and defence but will probably have a shorter career because he takes too many punches coming in.

  4. This is 4 starts fight no doubt about it. Bizier was unstoppable with a perfect plan of attack because Lawson was a very good and though opponent. This make the Bizier’s victory much much greater.
Bizier’s punch combinations and body work complete diminished Lawson’s will turning him almost useless to defend himself and for taking the initiative to perform an offensive fight. However, I fully agree with Barry below since in the way he fights, aggression but little defense, he received several punches from a power boxer that in the long term could affect his career and most likely his health conditions after retirement. He should take more care about it. A good example is Brandon Rios who is retiring now.
Congratulation to Bizier for a master work.

    • Now he becomes the mandatory to Kell Brooks. Tough ask. Al Haymon says he would like the fight to occur in Quebec City and attract Kell Brooks here, just like Bute-DeGale. Attract him with big money of course :)

      • I really enjoyed this exciting fight and to be honest with you a little bit nervous because Lawson was a though opponent and because a potential bad decision from the judges involved as per the previous fight. Thanks God the other guy quit because the punishment received.
It will be very nice if Kell decides to fight in Quebec.
I’m happy because our host is reconsidering to review the rate of Locche’s fight thanks to your help.

      • I would like to see Brook travel to Canada for the Bizier fight. It would make the fight a little more interesting if Bizier had home support because tbh I see that fight as a bit of a mismatch. Personally, I wanna see Brook v Bradley.

        • Yeah, Jo Jo Dan, who defeated Bizier twice by split decision, was outclassed by Brook. However, they could draw a pretty significant crowd here, monetarily speaking. I agree with you it looks like a tough ask, but Bizier has a chance in my opinion. Needs to improve the defense a little more on the inside, where he likes to work.

  5. Well done, Bizier. Superb combinations, a real pleasure to watch.

I agree with fellow ATBF fans that he could use a lot more head movement.
