Review: 2011-06-26, the main fight of the UFC Live 4 between Cheick Kongo and Patrick Barry was spectacular! Patrick Barry (6-2-0) surprised Kongo (15-6-2) with a right hook at the third minute of the first round but the French fighter survived and after a few seconds knocked out Barry! One of the greatest ko ever. Watch the video!
Review: 2011-06-25, close and tough fight between Felix Sturm and Matthew Macklin, it gets four stars also thanks to a very high pace. Felix Sturm entered the fight with a record of 35-2-1 while Matthew Macklin had a record of 28-2-0. Sturm vs Macklin is valid for the WBA Super World middleweight title. Watch the video!
Review: 2010-12-11, Juan Alberto Rosas (32-5-0) had just won the IBF super flyweight title against Simphiwe Nongqayi, and, at his first defense, he had to face Cristian Mijares (40-6-2). The fight was very exciting thanks to a very high pace. Cristian Mijares had already won the super flyweight world championship title in the previous year but then he was defeated by Vic Darchinyan (Fight of the Year 2008). Watch the video!
Review: 2010-12-11, the fight between Amir Khan and Marcos Rene Maidana was one of the best fights of 2010 and, as Oscar De La Hoya said: one of the “fights of the decade”. Amir Khan (23-1-0) was defending his WBA World light welterweight title against WBA interim champion Marcos Rene Maidana (29-1-0). In the first round Khan knocked down Maidana with a body-shot but the Argentinian boxer continued to fight and dominated the Englishman in the last three rounds. Khan vs Maidana was awarded the Fight of the Year by the Boxing Writers Association of America. Watch the video!
Good news for the fans of the K-1, in these days was announced that the final of the “K-1 WORLD MAX 2011 -63kg Japan Tournament“, scheduled Saturday, June 25 (2011), will be broadcasted live streaming for free! The event starts June 25th, at 3:30 pm Japan time (GMT +9) therefore it is better to check before how many hours of difference there are with our city: for example, who lives in London have to connect at 7:30 am, in New York at 2:30 am while in Sidney at 4:30 pm (check the World time zones here).

Review: 2009-05-01, the fight between Luis Carlos Abregu (26-0-0) and Irving Garcia (17-3-3) was very exciting: the match could end up in each round, since the 90% of the shots were power punches! For the first time in his professional career, Luis Carlos Abregu went down, both in the first and fourth rounds, but always in the fourth, the Argentinian knocked Irving Garcia out and remained undefeated. Review: 2009-04-03, Randall Bailey (38-6-0) came from the important victory over DeMarcus Corley (in 2008), and prior to challenge Juan Urango for the IBF light welterweight title, Bailey had to face Francisco Figueroa (20-2-0). In the first round Bailey knocked down his opponent but in the second Figueroa knocked down Bailey, it was easy to understand that the fight would not last long: in fact in the fourth round Randall Bailey defeated Francisco Figueroa with one of the best KO of the the year (Bailey vs Figueroa was valid for the IBF light welterweight title eliminator). Review: 2011-05-29, very exciting fight between Shintaro Matsukura (white trunks) and Yuya Yamamoto (gold trunks), match of the Krush 70 kg Tournament Opener. After a good first round, in the second it starts the battle with a really high pace, then in the third round Matsukura knocks down Yamamoto with a right knee but Yuya recovers and continues to fight. Shintaro Matsukura defeated Yuya Yamamoto by unanimous decision and he get to the semifinal of the Krush tournament. Watch the video!
Review: 2009-01-17, in this fight Andre Berto (23-0-0) defended for the second time his WBC welterweight title (won in 2008 against Miguel Angel Rodriguez) and his opponent was Luis Collazo (29-3-0), which had already won the welterweight belt in 2005 (WBA). Collazo proved more dangerous than expected, throwing more punches than Berto (812 against 682 of the champion) but after 12 exciting rounds Andre Berto defeated Luis Collazo by unanimous decision. (Lederman scored 115 to 112 in favor of Collazo!) Watch the video!
