  1. Maidana didnt seem his usual self.
But none the less he just outboxed the boxer? Now I got to find the post fight interview to see what Broner says.

I hope this will be a wake up call for him.
He has talent but entourage causes his ego to get ahead of it.

    • I agree about Maidana not being his usual self. I was saying it the whole fight. I think he just looks better at 140. He looked lethargic and lacking in power. Even with the two knockdowns, he didn’t look strong. Although, as it’s been said before, Maidana can knock you out with arm punches!!! p.s. the headbutt was stupid!

  2. See Broner was trying to be all FMM style in the fight. Difference is Floyd has the talent to back it up. Broner gut whupped from what I saw on the highlight reel. What were the cards ?

  3. The problem had alot of problems coming up in his career, he never knew how to block a left hook.. watch his old fights. he cant fight on the inside, hes flat footed and one dimensional, he came in light against a real welterweight in only his second fight at that weight when he cant even box that good, he talked too much too soon, he compared himself to an elite fighter when it was obvious that inside the ring he never showed much skills.. he wasnt 100% focused on his craft he took advantage of his of fame to bang hoes and party while maidana was training.. did you see his pot belly a few months ago on the mayweather all access?.. the true future of boxing would never have that. Broner was just another fighter, a wannabe, all maidana did was throw punches.

  4. Maidana just came to fight . Bronner wanted to box ( win by points)
same thing mayweather does ….the sport of boxing is turning into pointfighting …..

    • Broner didn’t box, he stayed in the pocket, he wanted to prove he can withstand the power, he paid for it

  7. Broner’s exposed. Can’t deal with power or volume of punches. Can’t maintain distance in the shell defense. He has had an easy ride up, and now it’s over.

  8. Excellent win for Maidana. He dominated the full fight and have a very nice two knockdowns. Broner, as usual, too arrogant and very poor as professional when he did to Maidana the doggy dance in the first round. Maidana took a deserved revenge in the eleven round doing the same to him with justified reasons. Maidana won the fight mainly because he outboxed Broner with his left hand.
I hope Broner learned the lesson and eat his ego (quite big indeed) in his next coming events since he has lost the title and is now just a former champion.
MUY BIEN CHINO TE LO MERECES. FUISTES A PELEARLO AL MOROCHO ENGRUPIDO Y TE LO LLEVASTES POR DELANTE CON LA POTENCIA QUE TENES Y LO SUPERASTES BOXEANDO TAMBIEN.

      • True…or he simply just fought someone hungrier and maybe more focused in to boxing ( it seems to me bronner is more interested in being a superstar ) ??

    • I feel sorry about the Ohios’s fans and yourself but from your side this is just “wishful thinking”, You should watch to or find another champion to represent Ohio since Broner was fully exposed here. I don’t understand either what you means with “this time Broner will be prepared”. A champion should be always ready and prepare for any coming fight despite the type of adversary he/she will deal with. Happen to be that instead to be prepare on all his pre- fight interviews he was just a nice talker insisting he will be destroying Maidana. It doesn’t happened and is not going to happen in the near future either. On the other hand, he looks to me very unprofessional doing the stupid doggy dance he did in the first round to undermine the will of Maidana.
You in Ohio don’t need “pseudo” champions like Broner representing you in front of the whole world providing such a bad taste and disgraceful image. Think about this and as i told before find another representative with better qualifications than Broner. .

  14. Nice one, I liked Maidana’s late ‘rebuttal’ lol. Very fake ‘injury’ by Broner, the doc didn’t even bother to look at it more than a second. Good scoring by the judges.
