Review: Kulebin was simply too strong for the less experienced Campoli. With full muay thai rules the Belarussian fighter is one of the strongest of the world and also in this fight he managed to win thanks to a right elbow that cutted his opponent. Review: tough and technical fight between Giorgio Petrosyan and Alexandre Cosmo. Cosmo seemed stronger in the clinch and faster with the kicks, but Petrosyan with his self-confidence and his boxing skill has been able to annihilate the Brazilian, one of the world’s strongest muay thai fighter of the moment (winner of the the King’s Cup in 2009). Finally everything is ready for the big event of k-1 and muay thai Oktagon 2011, scheduled for Saturday, March 12 in Milan (Italy), where the main fight will be Giorgio Petrosyan vs Alexandre Cosmo, another tough fighter for Petrosyan after the fight versus Sudsakorn Sor Klinmee. In the last days has also been confirmed the presence of Sudsakorn Sor Klinmee that, eliminated by the organizers of the Isuzu Cup (for his fight at Thai Boxe Mania), will face Xu Yan (from China). Instead Fabio Pinca is no longer in the fight card, which will be replaced by Angelo Campoli in the fight against Andrei Kulebin. William Diender vs Rachid Belaini was a tough battle, even without a knockout, the fight has been spectacular thanks to the high pace and to the hard blows between two very powerful fighter. Review: also with fighters not very popular, in Thailand is not so hard to find good muay thai athletes and spectacular fights. This is the case of the fight between Thanonchai Tor Sangtiennoi (red shorts) and Payaknoi Romsithong, five intensive round, good pace and good technique throughout the fight, it won’t be the muay thai fight of the year but it is one of the best of 2011.
