Review: tough and technical fight between Giorgio Petrosyan and Alexandre Cosmo. Cosmo seemed stronger in the clinch and faster with the kicks, but Petrosyan with his self-confidence and his boxing skill has been able to annihilate the Brazilian, one of the world’s strongest muay thai fighter of the moment (winner of the the King’s Cup in 2009). 2011 best K-1 MUAY THAI fight – Thanonchai Tor Sangtiennoi vs Payaknoi Romsithong
Review: also with fighters not very popular, in Thailand is not so hard to find good muay thai athletes and spectacular fights. This is the case of the fight between Thanonchai Tor Sangtiennoi (red shorts) and Payaknoi Romsithong, five intensive round, good pace and good technique throughout the fight, it won’t be the muay thai fight of the year but it is one of the best of 2011. Giorgio Petrosyan vs Sudsakorn Sor Klinmee full fight Video – 2011
Review:2011-01-29, Giorgio Petrosyan and Sudsakorn Sor. Klinmee are two of the strongest K-1 and Muay Tahi fighters of the last years, and their fight at Thai Boxe Mania was spectacular. The first round was won by Sudsakorn but from the second, Petrosyan begins to take the time of the thai fighter and the italian predominate especially with his boxing skills. Giorgio Petrosyan vs Sudsakorn Sor. Klinmee is still a close fight, then it would be nice a rematch, perhaps at K-1 World Max (if Sudsakorn will be able to get it). Watch the video!
2011 best K-1 MUAY THAI fight – Muangthai Sor Boonyiam vs Amata Por Tongboran
Review: the first fight of the year who won our five stars is Muangthai Sor Boonyiam vs Amata Por Tongboran. Two young muay thai fighter that fight in the 101 pound division, Muangthai (blue shorts) is only 17 years old and has a record of 40 victories and 18 defeats, while Amata (red shorts) is 20 and has a similar record, 40 wins and 20 losses. After the first round Muangthai Sor Boonyiam seems to have the match in hand, but in the second round, the powerful punches of Amata put his opponent in serious trouble (in Europe it would certainly have stopped the fight), but between the second and third round Muangthai recovers and starts a real war! Muangthai Sor Boonyiam wins Amata Por Tongboran with his left elbow: one of the best muay thai fights of 2011. Watch the video!
