Carvalho has won nine of his past 10 bouts over a stretch of three and a half years, with his lone loss coming against former DREAM champion and current Bellator fighter Marius Zaromskis in absolutely must see and brutal fight… four stars for one of the best mma KO of 2011: somersault kick (!!!), elbow and punches!
Pendred hopes to remain undefeated under the Cage Warriors banner and is 4-0-1 in his past five fights.
Cathal ‘The Punisher’ Pendred (overall 10-2-1) had the

MMA News – Rashad Evans dreams to face Anderson Silva!

Video interview Rashad Evans vs Anderson Silva

Former UFC light heavyweight champion Rashad Evans after his lost against reigning champion Jon ‘Bones’ Jones at UFC 145 in April, hoped to come back in the Octagon as soon as possible, but it’s not going to happen, at least not by the end of this year.
It’s not his fault, but because there aren’t many fighters left available for Evans before 2013: Jones is recovering from an injured elbow from his last fight with Vitor Belfort (= Jon Jones vs Vitor Belfort) and stepping into a coaching role on TUF 17, Dan Henderson is also in the midst of rehab, Mauricio “Shogun” Rua is lined up to face Alexander Gustafsson, and Forrest Griffin is scheduled to fight with Phil Davis.
Evan’s desire, however, is an interesting name… Anderson ‘The Spider’ Silva.
There are many pretenders to Silva’s title belt, and however ‘The Spider’ wants to face

In a date to be still announced, Chandler is expected to defend his title against Rick ‘Genghis’ Hawn, Bellator Season 6 Lightweight Tournament Winner (final match with Brent Weedman) and former olympic judoka.
Yesterday at Reading Eagle Theater in the Sovereign Center Reading, Penn, all the pretenders made weight, including big-show veteran Rich Clementi (155 pounds) and undefeated (20-0-0) prospect Alexander ‘Tiger’ Sarnavskiy (155.6 pounds) (look at

After having badly battered Fabio Maldonado at UFC 153 in Rio de Janeiro (= Teixeira vs Maldonado), Glover Teixeira called out Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson,  but only if the former champion is actually ready and wants to fight: “I don’t care. Like I said, I want to fight who wants to fight, I want to fight Rampage if he comes in, in top shape. I don’t want to fight him if he’s not motivated to fight”.
“I want to fight guys like this guy (Fabio Maldonado) that wants to make a career in the UFC. Quinton’s got too much money already,” said Teixeira.
After hearing that, ‘Rampage’, who was scheduled to face Teixeira at UFC 153, but was forced to pull out of the bout after suffering an undisclosed injury during training, asked Dana White to

After the knee injury that knocked Frank Mir out from the fight with Strikeforce grand prix winner Daniel Cormier (a replacement opponent has not yet been named), the bout, that will take place on November 3 at Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City, loses another two protagonists.

Luke Rockhold has been forced to withdraw from his title defense against Lorenz Larkin because of a left hand injury. Rockhold, 27, posted six consecutive victories before capturing the middleweight title in September 2011 defeating Ronaldo ‘Jacare’ Souza. He has since defended his belt twice, first with ex-UFC light heavyweight Keith Jardine in January and taking a unanimous decision from Tim Kennedy in July.
A former light heavyweight, Lorenz Larkin has fought just

The MMA injury bug continues to spread, but at least one fighter got the luck to enter the cage before being struck by it.
After the loss against Antonio Silva at UFC on FX 5 last Friday, Browne suffered a hamstring injury that will take him out 2 to 4 months approximately.
It isn’t clear which specific move lead to it, but during the fight Travis ‘Hapa’ Browne appeared to be unable to stand on his left leg and this handicap made all easy for ‘Bigfoot’ Silva, who landed a

Dave ‘Batista’ Bautista made his MMA debut (= Dave Batista vs Vince Lucero) Saturday Night earning a first-round TKO win over the veteran Vince Lucero. But, as we know, the performance wasn’t really good, and there were critics about his slowness and clumsiness. Unlike other former pro wrestlers as Brock Lesnar and Bobby Lashely who passed to MMA, Bautista had no amateur wrestling experience. Because of that, WWE champion CM Punk says that Bautista deserves more time to be judged:
“It’s definitely a bucket-list kind of thing. I think it’s awesome, too. Dave just wanted the experience. He wanted to fight even if

MMA News – Ronda Rousey calls out Cristiane ‘Cyborg’ Santos. Never wake the sleeping dog!

The verbal quarrel between Ronda Rousey and Cristiane ‘Cyborg’ Santos continues (Ronda Rousey vs Cris Cyborg Santos first post), and we are happy, because we want to see this great fight.
I think Cyborg really doesn’t have any other options besides me. I think she’s a victim of her own cheating, whereas when she was doped up and she looked like she was so head-over-heels above all these girls, it made the women’s division look bad. Then she cleaned out her own division because of that. Now she’s having to deal with the consequences of it. No one’s going to want to fight a cheater. I’m pretty much her only option and I’m chock full of options.” Ronda said recently.
Santos has not fought since failing a steroid test last December and lost her 145 pound title.
The Strikeforce Women’s Bantamweight Champion invited Cyborg to

Since the UFC loss, Palelei’s record sits at 9-1 with his only recent loss being to now Strikeforce Heavyweight Grand Prix champion Daniel Cormier and has 7 victories in a row. His last match was against Palelei vs Bob Sapp and it lasted 12 seconds (it was very funny indeed…look at Palelei’s face after the victoy!)
His opponent, Sean McCorkle, was cut from the UFC roster in 2011 after
