Here you can find the ranking of all the best mma fights of the Year 2022 (from the top mixed martial arts promotions in the world: Ultimate Fighting Championship – UFC, Bellator MMA, ONE Championship, KSW, Fight Nights Global – FNG, Professional Fights League – PFL, Eagle FC, etc). We create two different mma rankings every year:

  • one in which you can find all the bouts of 2022 rated by the editorial board of AllTheBestFights.com (matches sorted by the number of stars we give, but also in chronological order)
  • the second one, created just at the end of the year, in which we list the top 10 mma Fights of the Year rated by our users (matches sorted by the highest average rating). In this ‘Mma Fans Ranking’, if two bouts have the same average rating, the one with the highest number of votes will have a higher position

The black belt in judo and four times Combat Sambo world champion Vyacheslav Vasilevsky entered this fight with a professional mma record of 24-2-0 (71% finishing rate) and he is ranked as the No.21 middleweight in the world, he suffered his last defeat in 2012 when he faced Maiquel Falcao at Bellator 66 (=Falcao vs Vasilevsky), since then he has collected seven consecutive victories and he took revenge on Falcao in his last fight (August 9, 2014).
His opponent, Ramazan Emeev, has a record of 11-2-0 (64% finishing rate) but he is not ranked as he hasn’t fought since April 9, 2013 when he defeated Mario Miranda in their second fight successfully defending his M1 Global Mw belt (=Miranda vs Emeev 2). Vasilevsky vs Emeev, main event of M-1 Challenge 51, is valid for the M-1 Global middleweight title (Emeev’s second defense); they also faced each other a second time on April 10, 2015 (=Vasilevsky vs Emeev 2).
