He lost to Michal Turynski in 2017 (Catalin Morosanu vs Michal Turynski) but then he has won over Freddy Kemayo (Catalin Morosanu vs Freddy Kemayo 3), Mehmet Ozer (Catalin Morosanu vs Mehmet Ozer) and Ivo Cuk (Catalin Morosanu vs Ivo Cuk).
His opponent, Daniel Sam, has an official record of 36-16-0 (20 knockouts) but he comes off three consecutive losses, the last one against Ashitahi.
