Bellator 80 takes place on Friday, November 9, at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida. It hosts the remaining semifinals of Season 7: Featherweight Tournament Semifinal, Wagnney Fabiano vs Rad Martinez, and Heavyweight Tournament Semifinal, Vinicius Queiroz vs Alexander Volkov (see the other two semifinals Thiago Santos vs Richard Hale and Mike Richman vs Shahbulat Shamhalaev).
The featherweight tournament quarterfinals were contested at Bellator 76, with Martinez advancing by outpointing a game Nazareno Malegarie in a hard-fought three-round match (= Martinez vs Malegarie). On the other hand Fabiano submitted hard-hitting Russian
