The 2009 WMC world champion Mosab Amrani, has an official record of 53-9-4 (16 knockouts) and he entered as the No.2 welterweight in the world, he fought three times last year beating Lim Chi-Bin and Nishiura Wicky Satoshi-sei but then he lost to Hiroaki Suzuki (semifinal of the S-cup 2014).
His opponent, the black belt in karate Gabriel Varga entered this fight with a pro kickboxing record of 10-2-0 (1 knockout) and he is ranked as the No.5 in the same weight class, he suffered his last defeat in 2013 when he faced Yuta Kubo (semifinal of the Glory Fw tournament), since then he has collected three victories winning the Glory featherweight contender tournament in 2014 (beating Shane Oblonsky in the final).
