Review: 2011-06-25, it was not very exciting the final of the K-1 WORLD MAX -63kg Japan Tournament between Yuta Kubo and Koya Urabe (for both was the third match of the evening). Yuta Kubo defeated Koya Urabe by unanimous decision (first video) but he fought better in the semifinal against Masaaki Noiri (

Review: 2010-12-11, Juan Alberto Rosas (32-5-0) had just won the IBF super flyweight title against Simphiwe Nongqayi, and, at his first defense, he had to face Cristian Mijares (40-6-2). The fight was very exciting thanks to a very high pace. Cristian Mijares had already won the super flyweight world championship title in the previous year but then he was defeated by Vic Darchinyan (Fight of the Year 2008). Watch the video!
Review: 2010-12-11, the fight between Amir Khan and Marcos Rene Maidana was one of the best fights of 2010 and, as Oscar De La Hoya said: one of the “fights of the decade”. Amir Khan (23-1-0) was defending his WBA World light welterweight title against WBA interim champion Marcos Rene Maidana (29-1-0). In the first round Khan knocked down Maidana with a body-shot but the Argentinian boxer continued to fight and dominated the Englishman in the last three rounds. Khan vs Maidana was awarded the Fight of the Year by the Boxing Writers Association of America. Watch the video!
Good news for the fans of the K-1, in these days was announced that the final of the “K-1 WORLD MAX 2011 -63kg Japan Tournament“, scheduled Saturday, June 25 (2011), will be broadcasted live streaming for free! The event starts June 25th, at 3:30 pm Japan time (GMT +9) therefore it is better to check before how many hours of difference there are with our city: for example, who lives in London have to connect at 7:30 am, in New York at 2:30 am while in Sidney at 4:30 pm (check the World time zones here).
