Review:2011-01-29, Giorgio Petrosyan and Sudsakorn Sor. Klinmee are two of the strongest K-1 and Muay Tahi fighters of the last years, and their fight at Thai Boxe Mania was spectacular. The first round was won by Sudsakorn but from the second, Petrosyan begins to take the time of the thai fighter and the italian predominate especially with his boxing skills. Giorgio Petrosyan vs Sudsakorn Sor. Klinmee is still a close fight, then it would be nice a rematch, perhaps at K-1 World Max (if Sudsakorn will be able to get it). Watch the video!

They are two boxers very spectacular with many ko, Fernando Montiel is the number one of the bantam divsion (boxrec’s ranking), Nonito Donaire instead is at number four, but could use his age (3 years younger) and has also few centimeters more in height and reach. The fight between Fernando Montiel and Nonito Donaire is valid for the WBC and WBO bantamweight title and it will be broadcast on HBO and Hungary Sport 1.

Review: the first fight of the year who won our five stars is Muangthai Sor Boonyiam vs Amata Por Tongboran. Two young muay thai fighter that fight in the 101 pound division, Muangthai (blue shorts) is only 17 years old and has a record of 40 victories and 18 defeats, while Amata (red shorts) is 20 and has a similar record, 40 wins and 20 losses. After the first round Muangthai Sor Boonyiam seems to have the match in hand, but in the second round, the powerful punches of Amata put his opponent in serious trouble (in Europe it would certainly have stopped the fight), but between the second and third round Muangthai recovers and starts a real war! Saturday 5 March, in California, the Golden Boy Promotions has organized a boxing event focused on a fight that promises to be spectacular: Saul Alvarez vs Matthew Hatton. Saul “Canelo” Alvarez is probably the most talented youth of the world professional boxing: Alvarez is 20 years old and has already a record of 35 wins (26 KO) and no losses (1 draw), in the welterweight division he is already among the top 10, boxrec puts it in sixth place, but in the first five there are names like Floyd Mayweather Jr, Manny Pacquiao, Shane Mosley, Andre Berto and Jan Zaveck. His opponent is Matthew Hatton, brother of the famous Ricky, that in recent years has improved a lot and he is the EBU (European) welterweight champion. Review: 2001-03-02, the fight between Pongsaklek Wonjongkam and Malcolm Tunacao is not the best fight of the year since it is too short, but the first round it is definitely the best round of boxing of 2001. On March 2, 2001, Pongsaklek Wonjongkam was not even 23 years old, but he had a record of 38 wins and 2 defeats, while Tunacao had only 12 fights, but with no loss. De La Hoya, nine months before, had lost against Shane Mosley and absolutely needed a win to move closer to a world title, Gatti, instead, did not suffer any loss in the two previous years.
