Review: 2014-03-08, good finish but the rest of the fight was not so exciting: Leo Santa Cruz vs Cristian Mijares gets two stars. The undefeated Leo Santa Cruz entered this fight with a pro boxing record of 26-0-1 (15 knockouts) and he is ranked as the No.2 super bantamweight in the world, last year he moved up in weight class to the super bantamweight division after having successfully defended three times the IBF bantamweight title; now he is the current WBC super bantamweight champion.
His opponent, Cristian Mijares, has an official record of 49-7-2 (24 knockouts) and he entered as the No.6 in the same weight class (currently the #1 in this division is Guillermo Rigondeaux).
