Review: 2011-06-18, nice fight of Saul “Canelo” Alvarez that dominated Ryan Rhodes and defended his WBC light middleweight title for the first time. Saul Alvarez knocked down Ryan Rhodes in the fourth round but the match ended in the eleventh when the referee stopped the fight (TKO) . Watch the video!
Review: 2009-05-01, the fight between Luis Carlos Abregu (26-0-0) and Irving Garcia (17-3-3) was very exciting: the match could end up in each round, since the 90% of the shots were power punches! For the first time in his professional career, Luis Carlos Abregu went down, both in the first and fourth rounds, but always in the fourth, the Argentinian knocked Irving Garcia out and remained undefeated. Review: 2009-04-03, Randall Bailey (38-6-0) came from the important victory over DeMarcus Corley (in 2008), and prior to challenge Juan Urango for the IBF light welterweight title, Bailey had to face Francisco Figueroa (20-2-0). In the first round Bailey knocked down his opponent but in the second Figueroa knocked down Bailey, it was easy to understand that the fight would not last long: in fact in the fourth round Randall Bailey defeated Francisco Figueroa with one of the best KO of the the year (Bailey vs Figueroa was valid for the IBF light welterweight title eliminator). Review: 2009-01-17, in this fight Andre Berto (23-0-0) defended for the second time his WBC welterweight title (won in 2008 against Miguel Angel Rodriguez) and his opponent was Luis Collazo (29-3-0), which had already won the welterweight belt in 2005 (WBA). Collazo proved more dangerous than expected, throwing more punches than Berto (812 against 682 of the champion) but after 12 exciting rounds Andre Berto defeated Luis Collazo by unanimous decision. (Lederman scored 115 to 112 in favor of Collazo!) Watch the video!
Review: 2011-06-11, in just one round Avtandil Khurtsidze knocked down Dionisio Miranda two times and won the fight. Khurtsidze was defending for the first time his IBO middleweight title. Watch the video!
Review: 2011-06-10, also with three knockdowns the fight between Lateef Kayode and Matt Godfrey was not very exciting. Kayode knocked down Godfrey in the first, fifth and ninth round but he won by unanimous decision; Kayode vs Godfrey was valid for the NABA and NABF cruiserweight title. Watch the video!
Review: 2011-06-10, two pleasant rounds between Juan Carlos Reveco (26-1-0) and Jean Piero Perez (18-3-1), fight valid for the interim WBA World flyweight title. Reveco, in front of his fan, knocked Perez out in just two rounds with a textbook punch to the liver. Watch the video!
Review: 2011-06-04, after the great fight Julio Cesar Chavez Jr vs Sebastian Zbik, the Staples Center of Los Angeles hosted another pleasant fight: Vanes Martirosyan vs Saul Roman, valid for the vacant WBC Silver light middleweight title. Saul Roman surprised Martirosyan in the first round knocking down the Armenian, but at the end of the seventh the undefeated Martirosyan knocked out the Mexican! Watch the video!
Review: 2009-12-12, good fight between Vic Darchinyan and Tomas Rojas, but we want to give our 4 stars for the spectacular Ko. Vic Darchinyan (32-2-1) at the end of the first round tried to turn up the pace with a powerful exchange of punches, but it is 3 minutes later that Darchinyan knocked Rojas out with a powerful left punch. The fight Darchinyan vs Rojas was valid for the WBC and WBA super flyweight title. Watch the video!
