  1. WTF was up with the scoring in this fight.
I had it 10 rounds to 1 with 1 split!
If Freddy Atlas was ring side he would have been screaming at the incompetent judges.

Feeling that something was afoul here …

If Obara teamed up with a good trainer
to teach him correct balance (so he isn’t throwing arm punches all night) and set ups, he would be a force. As is he is just a strong guy with an awkward crude style. The top guys won’t loose to him as is.

  2. What a YOKE!!!!
None of any of those 3 judges deserved to be seating there. They are useless and corrupted. The fight was all Obara but the second round. I’m very impressed by Obara that is a quite good boxer for a guy that hasn’t amateur background and is a very strong puncher. He moves very well in the ring, with a very nice jab work and punch combinations from non predictable angles.
    He was totally robbed.
Castillo was totally frustrated and quite damaged to the point that in the 9 round he was very nasty using his elbow and rabbit punches. he doesn’t desrve at all such a draw.

  3. I didn’t give more than 3 rounds to Castillo, what a robbery. Obara’s punches were crisp and powerful. I get agitated when stupid decisions like this are handed over. Shame on the judges and the commentators for not being more vocal about the injustice.

    • I have the same feelings when something so outrageous like this occurred. Fully agree with you since it was a terrible injustice, no a “Yoke” but a real “Joke” :-)

      • lol. Did you have a problem with the video player like me? It took so long for me to load and did stop sporadically throughout the fight. Very frustrating, and the awful decision on top of it lol. Youku is garbage for my PC/browser.

  4. poor decision.obara won clearly. i like his post fight interview that a man ready for success blames nobody but himself even though the truth is the judges needed to be fair

    • Lagos, with your boxing experience this decision must hurt very much for sure.
Many of the current judges don’t deserve at all being involved in boxing and these 3 should be exonerated without doubt.
