2 Star RatingReview by AllTheBestFights.com: 2018-06-22, some good exchanges between Umar Salamov and Brian Howard but it is not enough to get three stars: it gets two.

The former Ibo champion Umar Salamov entered this fight with a pro record of 20-1-0 (15 KOs=75%) and he is ranked as the No.21 light heavyweight in the world. He fought three times last year beating Emil Markic and Artem Redko but between these two bouts he lost to Damien Hooper.
His opponent, Brian Howard, has an official boxing record of 13-1-0 (10 KOs=77%) and he entered as the No.44 cruiserweight. He suffered his only loss when he faced Harvey Jolly in 2012, since then he has fought just three times defeating Alex Guerrero, Phil Williams and Shawndell Terell Winters. 1. Two good boxer and a battle of jabs. However, Salomov was much more aggressive and active than his rival pursuing always for a knock out that finally came almost at the end of this fight. Both are skillful boxers in spite of being also hard punchers as per respective records. Salomov should improve his defensive skills a bit because he has the tendency to low his hands too much which in fact was risky due to the dimensions of his rival. Given that he is so young he has a good future in this sport if his coach is able to perform a good job too.
