He lost to Alim Nabiev last year but he came back to win in 2017 winning over Patrik Vidakovics and Djibril Ehouo.
His opponent, the black belt in karate Yoann Kongolo, has a kickboxing record of 64-9-0 (41 knockouts) and he entered as the No.5 in the same weight class.
