It was stopped when it should have been stopped. He wasn’t ‘defending’ himself, it was instinct, there’s a huge difference.

He was out, but possible could have recovered if given the opportunity.
thats definitely pre mature stoppage. Just cause a guy falls back and goes down doesn’t mean hes out cold. I used to box sometimes you get hit and you lock up like that but you can get back up quickly its one of those flash knock downs but definitely not a knock out blow. It was a surprise punch but there wasn’t a lot of heat behind it. You can’t just jump in like. The first thing we saw when ref stepped in he was tyiing up the ref right away. It wasn’t like he still laying there flat cold so it wasn’t knock out. So now in ufc if a guy get hit and his legs lock up and fall back fights over. ufc is getting more gay every time i watch it.
Dude are you kidding he went stiff and Johnny stopped punching Fitch would have got pounded out , what fight was you watching and when Fitch was up he did not know what even happened . great stoppage.
he was tying up the ref because he thought it was hendricks..therefore he blanked out, he didn’t know what was going on. hendricks pulled away at the right time and the ref came in at the right time. otherwise fitch would’ve ended up a lot worse
