Buakaw suffered his last defeat in 2009 when he faced Andy Souwer in the semifinal of the K-1 World Max, since then he has collected 31 consecutive wins! He has already fought five times in 2014 beating in his last bout Abdoul Toure in their rematch (=Buakaw vs Toure 2). Review: 2014-08-15, pretty good fight with a spectacular finish: the second fight between Buakaw Banchamek and Abdoul Toure gets three stars. Buakaw Banchamek entered this fight with a professional kickboxing record of 217-21-12 (56 knockouts) and he is ranked as the No.1 super welterweight in the world, he suffered his last defeat in 2009 when he faced Andy Souwer in the semifinal of the K-1 World Max, since then he has collected 30 consecutive wins! He has already fought four times in 2014 beating in his last bout Djime Coulibaly (=Buakaw vs Coulibaly 2).
His opponent, Abdoul Toure, has a record of 16-5-0 (7 knockouts), he has already fought once in 2014 but he was beat by Petchmongkong Petchfocus. Review: 2014-08-04, the fight between Peter Aerts and Freddy Kemayo gets two stars. The 43-year-old Peter Aerts (11 years older than Kemayo) entered this fight with a kickboxing record of 105-32-2 (79 KOs=75%) and he is ranked as the No.8 heavyweight in the world but in his last seven fights he won just twice: against “Mr. Kamikaze” in 2011 and against Jamal Ben Saddik in 2013 (=Aerts vs Saddik); after this bout he lost to Rico Verhoeven (by split decision, Aerts vs Verhoeven) and he drew against Dewey Cooper.
His opponent, Freddy Kemayo, has an official record of 66-20-1 (46 knockouts) and he entered as the No.17 in the same weight class, he suffered his last loss in 2012 when he faced Pavel Zhuravlev, since then he has collected six consecutive wins. Review: 2014-08-04, pretty good finish but it is not enough to get three stars: Jerome Le Banner vs Colin George gets two. The 41-year-old Jerome Le Banner entered this fight with a pro kickboxing record of 78-22-2 (63 KOs=80%) and he is ranked as the No.12 heavyweight in the world, he lost his last bout in 2013, against Sergei Kharitonov (=Le Banner vs Kharitonov) but he came back to victory in 2014 defeating Lucian Danilencu (=Le Banner vs Danilencu).
On the original fight card Le Banner was expected to face Daniel Sam but he was replaced by Colin George (unfortunately we don’t know his record). Le Banner vs George is the main event of Fight Night Saint Tropez II. Watch the video and rate this fight!
