  1. Good job Dawson – hope to see “Bad” make that climb back into contention that may punch his ticket one day, into the hall of fame! It won’t be easy but time is on the man’s side

  2. I’m still unsure.
Even though only 33 Dawson doesn’t seem to be who he once was.
I tihnk he would need to fight 3 or 4 more times this year. Stepping up each fight.

  3. A walk in the park for Dawson. I thought too, just like White, that the stoppage was not fully justified, but anyway.. it was just a matter of time (a round or two) before the courtain goes down for him.
At this stage of his career, it would see Dawson fight a guy like Pascal. Both about the same age, both had a glorious past and are now raising the same kind of questions about their futures. If this fight was to happen in Montréal, it would be an appreciable payday for both guys, more than anywhere else in the world. I remember their 2010’s fight and it was a very interesting one. Pascal was comfortably ahead on all scorecards when the referee stopped the contest because of an accidental headbutt causing serious dammage to Dawson. But the latter was landing some real heavy shots at that point and it seemed like Pascal could have been KOed at that point. Unfinished business.

  4. Chad shown good speed (if compared with his adversary who was really quite slow), good jab work, and nice combination of punches. White, most of the times, anticipated very bad his power punches making almost all them unsuccessful. I guess White was completely unable to find the way to fight Chad because his southpaw stance. Anyhow, the fight was quite slow and I’m very surprised it received 3 starts when “chocolatito vs Arroyo, a much more interesting one received the same qualification. The stoppage I believe was fine since White wasn’t defending himself in spite of being still in good shape. About Chad future, I don’t think he would do much with the actual level of competition in this category.
