Deniz defeated Roche by decision and won the “SuperKombat World Grand Prix IV tournament title” (in the semifinals Erhan Deniz had won Angelis Konstantinos while Wendell Roche had beaten Marian Baryla). Review: 2011-10-15, pleasant fight between Danny Garcia and Kendall Holt but it is not enough for our three stars; Garcia defeated Holt by split decision. Danny Garcia (21-0-0) entered as the No.13 light welterweight in the world while Kendall Holt (27-4-0) entered as the No.6. Garcia vs Holt was valid for the vacant WBO Inter-Continental light welterweight title (undercard of Bernard Hopkins vs Chad Dawson). Watch the video!
Review: 2011-10-15, after the first fight in which Hugo Ruiz defeated Francisco Arce by unanimous decision, in this second bout Ruiz needs only four rounds to win “Panchito” Arce. In fact in the third round “Cuatito” Ruiz knocked down Arce with a nice shot and the referee stopped the fight at the beginning of the fourth. Hugo Ruiz (28-1-0) entered as the No.20 bantamweight in the world while Francisco Arce (31-7-3) entered as the No.38. Ruiz vs Arce 2 was valid for the interim WBA World bantamweight title. Review: 2011-10-15, pleasant fight between Piotr Wilczewski and James DeGale but it is not enough for our three stars, DeGale defeated Wilczewski by majority decision. Piotr Wilczewski (29-1-0) entered as the No.19 super middleweight in the world while James DeGale (10-1-0) entered as the No.28. Wilczewski vs DeGale was valid for the EBU (European) and WBO Inter-Continental super middleweight titles (undercard of Nathan Cleverly vs Tony Bellew). Watch the video!
Review: 2011-10-15, after a spectacular first round the pace slows down a little bit but the fight between Catalin Morosanu and Ibrahim Aarab is probably the best fight of the SuperKombat WGP 4. Morosanu defeated Ibrahim Aarab by unanimous decision. Watch the video!
Review: 2011-10-15, both fighters starts strong and Alexandru Lungu (Romanian judoka who weighs 360 lb – 163.3 kg!) knocks down two times Bob Sapp (341 lb – 154.7 kg) in the first round winning the fight by KO (ninth consecutive defeat for Sapp in his kick-boxing record). Watch the video!
