METAMORIS 5 Sakuraba vs Gracie – full fights Videos & results

Metamoris V took place at the Long Beach Convention Center (Long Beach – California) and it is headlined by honorary black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu and first man to defeat Royce Gracie in MMA history Kazushi Sakuraba and the black belt in judo and Bjj Renzo Gracie. In the co-main event the ufc fighter Rory MacDonald faced the 2013 world No-Gi lightweight champion Jonathan Torres, both fighters are black belt in Bjj as well.

The “Metamoris” superfights have different rules from the common BJJ rules: the time limit is 20 minutes instead of 10 min (as usually in the black belt fights) but the most interesting thing is that it is possible to win only by submission! If there is no submissions (or disqualifications) the fight ends in a tie.
