The MMA event more interesting of the weekend (Saturday, April 9) is organized by Strikeforce, which main event is Nick Diaz vs Paul Daley. Diaz (24-7-0) doesn’t lost since 2007 and defends for the third time his Strikeforce welterweight title (his second defense, against Evangelista “Cyborg” Santos, is one of the best MMA fights of 2011), but the American fighter has to be careful because Daley (27-9-2) is a very dangerous opponent with 20 fights on 27 won by knockout. In the same evening there will be also the Strikeforce lightweight title at stake between Gilbert Melendez and Tatsuya Kawajiri: “El Nino” Melendez (18-2-0) is the reigning champion (since 2009) and is the favorite against the Japanese Kawajiri (27-6-2).
Completing the main card of the MMA event “Strikeforce: Diaz vs Daley” two very interesting fights: Gegard Mousasi vs Keith Jardine and Shinya Aoki vs Lyle Beerbohm.
