Henry Lundy entered this fight with a pro boxing record of 23-3-1 (11 knockouts) and he is ranked as the No.12 light welterweight in the world, in his last three fights he lost twice: the first time against Raymundo Beltran in 2012 losing also the NABF lightweight title (=Beltran vs Lundy) and then when he faced the undefeated Viktor Postol.
His opponent, Angelo Santana, has an official record of 14-1-0 (11 KOs=78%) and he entered as the No.95 lightweight, he suffered his only defeat in his last fight against Bahodir Mamadjonov. Curiously he was born in Cuba from a boxing family in which both his father and uncle had been national champions but some of his family members are defectors to the United States so he couldn’t travel abroad, thus he decided to sail to Florida on a raft made of wood and tire inner tubes on a three day journey in September 2007!! 2013 best K-1 MUAY THAI fight – Bovy vs Chainoi Worawut – full fight Video

Review: 2013-08-04, fantastic muay thai fight with three knockdowns and some amazing wild exchanges, but both fighters showed also some beautiful and effective clinch techniques. Unfortunately the final of the fight between Bovy and Chainoi was not as exciting as the whole bout if not it could be a real candidate for Muay Thai Fight of the Year 2013 and could get five stars, but Bovy vs Chainoi still remains a must-see!
Bovy Sor Kor Suhaigym (red trunks) entered this fight with a professional muay thai record of 65-14-2 while Chainoi Worawut (blue trunks) has an official record of 50-10-0. Bovy vs Chainoi was selected as one of the top five bouts in contention for Channel 7 Stadium fight of the year 2013 (award won by Satanfaa Sagami vs Chokpreecha Gor Sagunchuea, fight we rated three stars). 2014 K-1 MUAY THAI fight – Toby Smith vs Kem Sitsongpeenong – full fight Video

Review: 2014-02-16, technical fight with some nice elbows but the fight was not so spectacular: Kem Sitsongpeenong vs Toby Smith gets two stars. Kem Sitsongpeenong entered this fight with a professional kickboxing record of 120-23-4 (41 knockouts) and he is ranked as the No.3 welterweight in the world, he fought six times in 2013 winning five bouts, the only fight he didn’t win was against Jordan Watson (fight ended in a draw). But 2014 has not started very well for the Thai fighter since he lost his last bout and his WBC Muaythai world super welterweight title against Vitaly Gurkov (not a great fight, we rated it two stars).
His opponent, Toby Smith, has an official record of 33-5-2 (9 knockouts) and he entered as the No.3 super welterweight, he is one of Australia’s most promising muay thai fighters since he is just 20 years old and he managed to win the WPMF junior middleweight world title and in his last fight he defeated Thongchai Sitsongpeenong (Lumpinee Stadium welterweight champion).
