Juan ‘Baby Bull’ Diaz ranked as the No.80 lightweight in the world, entered the fight with a record of 36-4-0 (18 knockouts) while Adailton De Jesus had a record of 30-7-0 (24 knockouts; De Jesus is not ranked as he hasn’t fought since December 17, 2011 when he defeated Denis De Barros).
